El sombreron

El sombreron es un mito centro y sur americano, el diseño es mio pero sigo ciertas referencias bibliograficas y lo que voy a escribir hace parte del mito aunque me tome la libertad de meter un poco mas de fantasia...

El sombreron: Fue un hombre de mala reputacion, un jugador avido y un alcoholico. Un dia cualquiera el diablo quiso cobrarle todo lo que habia hecho en tierra y se le aparecio para llevarse su alma, el hombre desesperado por el destino que le aguardaba quiso apostar con el demonio su alma y fue asi como en un juego de poquer el hombre perdio...
Ahora sirve al demonio como cazador de almas perdidas en la tierra, persigue a los apostadores, jugadores y buscapleitos para castigarlos llevandolos al infierno...
dicen que un viento helado anuncia su venida, las cadenas trastabillando y los cascos de una bestia enorme son el preludio y el anuncio de miseria y sufrimiento y los que lo han visto dicen que va montado en una mula enorme que respira un fetido vapor verdoso, lleva un sombrero gigante y solo se ven sus ojos rojos como la sangre, tambien va acompañado por dos enormes perros que ocasionalmente rompen las cadenas que los amarran para darse un festin con algun desafortunado...

El sombreron its a central-south american myth, the character design its mine but i follow some refs from books and what im going to write takes part of the real myth but i will write something more "fantastic"

El sombreron: was a man of bad reputation, an avid gambler and an alcoholic. Any given day the devil want to "pass the bill" for all the bad things he made on earth and appears in front of him ready to take his soul, the man filled with desperation knowing his fate, made a bet with the devil, the bet was is soul, after a game of poker the man loss...
Now he serves the devil, as a hunter of lost souls in the earth, he persecutes the gamblers, the players and the troublemakers to punish, taking them to hell...
people say that chilling winds announce his coming, chains shrieking and hooves of a giant beast pounds the ground, they are the prelude of misery and suffering and the people who claimed that saw el sombreron say he always ride a giant mule who breathes a fetid green steam, he wears a enormous hat and the only thing visible is his blood-red eyes he also goes with two big black dogs who ocassionally break the chains that binds them and eat the flesh of some unfortunate human...
